Interactive Online Games and Activities
It is no mystery. Children love video games. It is also no mystery that many games today involve violent acts.
Here are some positive conflict resolution and social emotional learning games I have come across online. If you know of more, please add them!

EVOKE - A video game that changes the world...REALLY!
Yes, it is Sunday, and I'm at home. While I should be enjoying my weekend, I instead discovered something while catching up on some leftover work (no one brings work home these days right?!), I came across something I HAD to share with all of you.
I was watching a TED video, listening to video game guru Jane McGonigal, who was speaking about her theory on how video games can change the world using World of Warcraft as an example. (At this point, being anti-World of Warcraft I considered going back to my laundry, but was glad I didn't...).
She spoke of a game called EVOKE. After hearing her spiel, I signed up to play immediately. I have been on the look out for new way so train teachers, new ways to use technology for peacemaking adventures and it was as if she landed right in my lap, with a video game that could change the world.
I am in the process of playing it and would LOVE any thoughts from all of you if you have a chance to check it out. It blew me away.
Here is her website with links to her TED speech, a news report on her game, and an introduction to her game. Here you can also access the game itself.
